Peoples Digest Review of this weekends English Premier League matches (played & yet to be played)

...And Pep Gaurdiola ate the humble pie. Everyone knew he couldn't get far without the gentle giant in the team. Yaya showed class as City pushed aside Crystal Palace.
It was actually a day where Referees decided the outcome of the matches. Arsenal got away with a draw courtesy of Mariner not awarding a spot kick to Valencia after he was clearly seen to have been impeded. Clattenburg on the other hand was having a field day as he continually allowed Vandyke and his Southampton colleagues to play a smooching, grabbing and shirt pulling game with Liverpool culminating in a goaless draw. Tottenham vs West Ham was also marred by some refereeing decision.
Top gainers were Arsenal as the joyfully consolidated on their fourth position.
Chelsea visit Borough later today in a make or mar battle of really showing intent and stamping authority on the pursuit of the title. The Roman army have been phenomenal in front of goal and fortified at the rear with Victor Moses playing some utopic football.
Will Conte's men continue their onslaught?
