Gabon star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang netted his 13th goal of the season for Borussia Dortmund on Saturday, but it proved only a consolation in the end as they lost 2:1 at Eintracht Frankfurt in the German Bundesliga.
The 27-year-old headed home in the 77th minute to level the score at 1:1, but he and his teammates were still in celebration mode when their in-form hosts grabbed the winner just two minutes later.
The loss sees Dortmund slip to sixth in the standings, nine points behind leaders RB Leipzig.
Aubameyang however moves a goal clear at the top of the scorers' chart as Frenchman Anthony Modeste, with whom he was joint-top scorer entering the weekend, fired blanks in his side FC Cologne's goalless draw with Augsburg.
