Moses shines as Iheanacho returns

Nigerian internationals Victor Moses and Kelechi Iheanacho clashed on  Saturday in the English Premier League, but it was Moses' Chelsea that took all three points away with a 1:3 spanking of their hosts Manchester City, for whom Iheanacho returned to action for the first time in over one month.
Moses continued to blossom in his right wing-back role and although he was not involved in any of the goals, his huge last-ditch block in the 67th minute, with the score tied at 1:1, denied City's Argentine star Sergio Aguero an almost certain goal that could have changed the outcome of the game.
The 25-year-old Moses, has played every game for the London giants since Italian manager Antonio Conte switched to a 3-4-3 formation that has seen his team go on an eight-match winning run. They have now provisionally gone four points clear atop the table pending the conclusion of the weekend's games.
Meanwhile Iheanacho was introduced in the 78th minute as City searched for an equaliser with their guests leading 1:2. He joined the fray moments after four-time African Player of the Year Yaya Toure was introduced, but none could change City's fortunes.
Indeed a lost ball by Iheanacho in the 90th minute led to a Chelsea break from which Belgian star Eden Hazard capped the win with another superb Chelsea goal.
An own goal by England star Gary Cahill had given City the lead just before the break, but Spain striker Diego Costa equalised for Chelsea on the hour mark with a superb effort after controlling a glorious long pass for the impressive Spaniard Cesc Fabregas. Ten minutes later Brazil star Willian gave Chelsea the lead for the first time with a low drive following a counterattacking move.
The forward emotionally dedicated the goal to his fallen compatriots in Brazilian club Chapecoense that died in a plane crash near the Colombian city of Medellin on their way to a football match on Wednesday.
Once again Nigeria captain Mikel Obi did not make the squad for Chelsea.
