Chesea beat Arsenal in League cup... Coach Dan
Chelsea beat Arsenal 2-0 to ease into the quarterfinals of the League Cup on
Tuesday, barely 48 hours after a dramatic Premier League win over fellow title
challengers Manchester City.Of the players who kicked off for Chelsea against their London rivals at the Emirates Stadium, only one -
Gary Cahill - was in the starting line-up for Sunday's match.
While Arsenal also fielded a team featuring few first-choice players, Chelsea were able to draft in a string of top notch internationals.
Spain's Juan Mata and Cesar Azpilicueta made their presence felt with a goal each, while Brazilians David Luiz and Willian also stepped up after starting on the bench on Sunday.
Wenger, whose team lead the Premier League with Chelsea two points behind them in second place, played down suggestions that his squad lacked similar depth.
The Frenchman pointed to injuries which have sidelined three of his top attacking players - Theo Walcott, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlaine and Lukas Podolski.
"If you put them in, I think you have a completely different position in the team."It is now afact that after 10 competetive matches Wenger has not beaten Mourinho before...

The spanish El-clasico.....War in spain..
The
167th La Liga 'Clasico between Barcelona and Real Madrid at the Nou Camp on
Saturday (1600 GMT) could be the ideal stage for Gareth Bale and Neymar to show
they are worth a combined price tag of almost 160 million euros ($221 million). One of the most intense rivalries in football and a match watched by hundreds of millions around the world will again showcase the peerless talents of Barca's Argentine World Player of the Year Lionel Messi and Real's Portugal forward Cristiano Ronaldo.
Wales winger Bale replaced Ronaldo as the most expensive player in history when he joined Real from Tottenham Hotspur for a fee of 100 million euros in the close season, while Barca paid some 57 million to lure Brazil forward Neymar from Santos.
Bale's first weeks in the Spanish capital have been disrupted by injury but coach Carlo Ancelotti hinted that the 24-year-old could feature from the start against Barca after coming on as a second-half substitute in Wednesday's 2-1 Champions League victory at home to Juventus.
Neymar, 21, has shown glimpses of the brilliance that has served his country so well in recent years - he scored the goal against Atletico Madrid that secured the Spanish Super Cup at the end of August - without really catching fire...
It would be a very close contest with fans around the world gluing close to there screens...

Zlatan Ibrahimovic scores FOUR goals in the champions’ league
Paris St Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic received a
deserved standing ovation after scoring a magnificent half-volley against
Anderlecht on Wednesday.
Not content with a single brilliant strike, the Swede went on to become the 10th man to score four goals in a Champions League tie as PSG won 5-0 in Belgium to extend their perfect record in Group C, and he remains the driving force of a team emerging as serious title contenders. He is one of the best in the world. He will be remembered as one of the best in European football... in world football, actually."
Cavani's arrival has also played a part in helping Ibrahimovic expand his duties as the Uruguayan forward is creating space for both the fullbacks and the Swede.
"I am not surprised by Ibrahimovic. I think he is one of the best players in the world and he shows us that every game with amazing goals and abilities."

Serena Williams promises to get better
Serena Williams aims to claim her 11th tournament trophy to
round off one of the best years of her career, and warned her opponents at this
week's WTA season-ending championships that she can still improve.
"It's definitely one of the best years I have had... I'm still looking to improve and... I have a lot of room for improvement," Williams told reporters on Monday, the day before the eight-woman tournament begins.
The American world number one has won more matches and more titles than in any other year of her career, losing four times in 73 games in 14 events.
"I'm so excited for next year just to take my game to a new level," added Williams, who won the French and U.S. Opens this year to take her grand-slam total to 17.
"It's just been a great opportunity for me to continue to play, so I never thought I would have one of my best years this year but I always just try to keep doing better."
World number three Maria Sharapova will miss the championship because of a shoulder injury.
Williams said she expected a good match when she plays Kvitova, a dangerous opponent on a fast indoor surface, although the Czech player has never beaten her..
